Edelbrock carbureted GM 540 c.i.d. 650 hp long block crate engines are great powerplants for any high performance build. They feature top end packages that include a Victor Jr. intake manifold and fully ported E-CNC rectangular port cylinder heads for improved airflow. The heads also have stock exhaust port locations for use with off-the-shelf headers. When combined with Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder hydraulic roller camshaft, the combination delivers over 650 hp and 640 lbs.-ft. of torque on pump gas. This engine is sold without a carburetor so you can select the best one for your performance goals.
